China is represented by classic Large Dragons, Dowagers, Red Revenues and Local Posts, while the People’s Republic section includes the Mei Lan-Fang miniature sheets, the 1967 Poems of Mao set and the 1980 Year of the Monkey stamp. 1924-37 Script wmk 6c intense black, variety WMK REVERSED, lower left corner block of 4, o.g. (three stamps unmounted). Faintly toned gum, still fine fresh appearance with the variety clearly visible in the margins from the face. Attractive and highly desirable, as it is probable that only one sheet existed.
