China is represented by classic Large Dragons, Dowagers, Red Revenues and Local Posts, while the People’s Republic section includes the Mei Lan-Fang miniature sheets, the 1967 Poems of Mao set and the 1980 Year of the Monkey stamp. 1937 'Dhow' set of 12 to 10r, perf 'SPECIMEN' (type D20), brilliant large part o.g. A couple of values with minor imperfections (2a short perfs, 10r rounded corner perf), but overall very fine and fresh. Far above average for this attractive and sought-after set.
