Imperator'' the ship sailed from New York for Southampton and was caught in bad weather with some of the mails arriving in a damaged state, with no official record of the reason why.  Bearing French vernacular cachet in black and postmarked Lausanne arrival cds for 6.1.20, attractive and scarce.
