POSTAL HISTORY: 1862-1905 Registered Mail collection annotated on album pages. Large oval registered cancel of Dunedin on attractively franked 1882 and 1889 covers to Baron George de Worms in London. Straight line REGISTERED handstamp on 1882 and 1892 covers to Australia. 1877 with 2d QV cancelled with full Timaru T1 duplex, hand-endorsed "Supposed to contain Coin, Compulsorily Registered" also "1/- to Pay", creased and well travelled etc. Many fine covers (18 items)
