<p>c. 1894 London 9ct stamp case in the form of an envelope, the front bearing a tiny enamelled 1881 GB 1d. lilac "cancelled" by a black enamel London duplex cancel dated Feb. 14 1894 and addressed to Johannesburg, the top with a single pivot swing-top lid and a chain attachment at side; fine and very rare, this being the first of this type we have seen in gold.</p>
