1851 mourning envelope to Tavistock House, London franked by 1d red-brown tied by Ramsgate '634' numeral signed at lower left by eminent author Charles Dickens, addressed to his friend the artist Frank Stone, who lived in one of the three residences at Tavistock House, backstamped by Ramsgate and Broadstairs marks for JY 16 and London arrival for JY 17, cover a little roughly opened still a most attractive item, a must for the Dickensian enthusiast.
