Very fine wrapper sent from Duke Street, Edinburgh to London bearing a horizontal pair of 1d Rose-reds Pl.55 (SG 40) lettered DA-DB neatly cancelled by a crisp "DUKE STREET" Scots local cancellation (Type VII). Backstamped by a blue Edinburgh dispatch cds for MR.2.1858, and a London arrival for the following day. Alcock scarcity rating A. Ex "Claymore".
