FORGERY: 1903 £1 grey-black and ultramarine, postal forgery, on genuine wmk Crown CA paper, cancelled by indistinct cds, the dissimilarity being the value table; on the genuine stamp the value is white within a blue lined background, whereas the forgery is the reverse, a blue value in a white background.
