POSTAL HISTORY: 1850s to 1936 'Movable Box' collection of covers and postcards well written up on exhibition pages and loose, franked with French and British adhesives with identified markings by type we note; 1856 cover from Jersey bearing 4d carmine (2) sent on 7th January, (seventh day of Anglo-French Convention) with Granville movable box h/s, quantity of single French covers franked with 20c blue, and sampling of French Colonies with movable box markings, generally fine condition, an interesting lot.
