1938-51 ½d deep green, IMPERFORATE 'working proof' on unwmkd wove with horizontal blue security lines 16mm apart, two blocks of 48 (6x8) each with full imprint and respectively plate numbers '1A' (upper left pane) and '1B' (upper right pane) at foot. Originally joined horizontally, and with full margins except at lower left of '1A' block. Some creasing characteristic of such proofs (minor on the '1B' block) but spectacular and unique items. SG 121  Ex Kayfetz, with the '1B' block Harmers 14/5/97, lot 760.
