POSTAL HISTORY: 1860s-70s pair of covers: 3c ultramarine on envelope to Boston tied by segmented cork cancel with ST. P & SIOUX City RR cds for DE15, and Western Express-Alt Express type I PAID advertising in black on 3c red postal stationary envelope cancelled by Alta Express CO/ San Francisco oval in red, some faults, still a fine pairing.
