1866 6a purple, provisional on Foreign Bill optd type 15, fine unused with slight central horizontal bend, still a very collectable example without any of the surface tarnishing which is usually found on this delicate stamp. SG 66, £2750  
  
[ N.B. Affixed to the stamp is a homemade linen 'hinge' which has been annotated by the original purchaser that the stamp 'Tall Letters' was purchased from Stanley Gibbons on 1/3/1895 for 18/-]
