POSTAL HISTORY: 1776-1798 Pair of pre-stamp folded letters, to the “Town Mayor of Gibraltar” dated by previous owner as 1776, concerning the trial of a serviceman for “unmilitary and improper behaviour”, some separation of the paper along the folds. The other is an OHMS folded letter to Ordinance Storekeeper, Gibraltar, dated 1798, concerning a cannon for the HMS Alexander.
