POSTAL HISTORY: 1843 cover to Tenbury Worcestershire, franked by 1d red-brown struck by black MC, backstamped by Manchester cds for AP 15, 1843, cover bearing Propaganda labels in pink and yellow, lamenting against the Corn Laws, which were tariffs imposed upon the import of foreign corn which saw domestic corn prices rise above wages, also mentioning Lord Stanley (Earl of Derby who later served as Prime Minister) who resigned from Peel's cabinet in opposition to their repeal and was one of the leading protectionists in Parliament, a most interesting and historically important cover.
