POSTAL HISTORY: 1919 Registered Envelope (HG 3) with four additional War Tax issues (SG119), addressed to Calcutta, India and readdressed to Darjeeling. Large label on reverse inscribed “Doubtful, Suspected to Contain Dutiable or Prohibited Goods”, also London transit and Darjeeling arrival marks, 12 SP 1919 and 16 OC 1919 respectively, interesting route.
