1840 1d Mulready envelope (Forme 2, Stereo A154). Very fine used example sent from Stamford to Torquay, neatly cancelled with a crisp red MC with a matching Stamford cds below for the second day of issue MY.7.1840. Minor peripheral faults nevertheless of fine appearance and rare to find with the datestamp on the obverse. Ex. "Mayflower" 2010 BPA Cert.
