1856 4c black on rose-carmine paper typeset provisional initialled 'E.D.W.' (= Wight), unused with three excellent margins but just cut into at top.  Thinnings and various other faults, with some restoration, but good colour and appearance.  W. Drahn (1939) and BPA Certificates (2007), the latter pink and noting 'unused, thins, a horizontal crack has been reinforced and touched in'.  SG 25, unpriced unused, a very rare stamp which is catalogued at £40,000 in used condition
