1887 2d Green & scarlet "Jubilee". Very fine used vertical strip of three each stamp neatly cancelled by a London chief office type, number "3" trial cancel. The true purpose of these cancellation trials is unknown, but it has been surmised that they were to test the cancelling ink on the doubly fugitive green ink. Scarce. Spec. K30(1)var. Ex Rowse & Aureum. SG199var.
