TRIAL: 1841, Plate 11 (PH),  1d full deep red printing on very blued paper with Dickinson silk thread, ungummed as issued, clear to very large margins showing portion of adjoining stamp at left; horizontal crease as usual otherwise fresh appearance. A very collectable example of this scarce stamp with only eight sheets of 240 being printed, six being gummed and two ungummed. RPS Certificate (1987). SG 16 var, Spec DP22, £4,750
