1840 1d Black Plate 6. Superb used four margin example lettered LC, neatly tied to a wrapper by a crisp strike of a black MC alongside a “Fleet St. W.O“ receivers handstamp. Sent from London to Sydenham, Kent and backstamped by a London dispatch datestamp for MY.4.1841. Scarce so fine.
