C10(4); 1d bright rose-red Plate 38 (PC), tied to entire addressed to Derby by Bristol (type IIC) sideways duplex for JU.15.1857, the reverse with red London transit and green Derby arrival cds (Spec. C10(1); and 1d pale rose, Plate 43 (Transitional issue on cream paper)(JJ), tied to envelope addressed to Rye by Maidstone (type II, 2nd recut) sideways duplex for JU.17.1857 (Spec C9(4).
