OVERSEAS MAIL: 1858 4d rose with wing margin, wmk Large Garter, franked on entire letter to Copenhagen (Norway) neatly tied by crisp Sunderland '761' sideways duplex for JY.3.1858 and 'PART-PAID/MORE TO PAY' hs in London, the reverse with London dispatch, Hamburg tansit hs for JY.7.1858 (2). The correct rate to Copenhagen at this time via Hamburg was 10½d, a red "6½" charge mark of the British Post Office can be seen denoting the deficiency also numerous over charge marks from the Belgian, Hamburg and Danish Post Offices.
