1895 cover addressed to Aylesbury, England, bearing 1888 ½d and 1894 1d (pair) paying the 2½d rate, tied by 'NKANDHLA AP 17 95' cds, the reverse with 'Eshowe AP 19' and 'Durban AP 20' transit and 'Aylesbury MY 20 95' arrival cds. Some peripherals faults nevertheless a very uncommon cover, Nkandhla was a small village in the centre of Zululand, a little over 100 miles east of Ladysmith.
