1898 ‘Bickel’ registered cover addressed to Germany bearing 1895 surcharge on 2½d vermilion set of three (the 7½d on 2½d with variety ‘missing  eyebrow’), and 1895 (July-Sept.)  1d to 7½d set of four, each tied by Nukualofa '18 JA' cds  with year date omitted, alongside 'Registered at Tonga' oval mark in purple and New York label, the reverse with San Fransisco 'FEB 10 1898' and New York '2 17 1898' transit and Weinböhla '1 3 98' arrival cds, an archive horizontal bend and few minor imperfection that don't effect the stamps otherwise fine, a scarce cover, Ex Baxendale
