POSTAL STATIONERY: 1893 'THREE HALFPENCE' brown yellow postcard (H&G6), addressed to "A. D. Gilmer, Edinburgh', uprated with 1896-7 ½d tied by neat Umtali cds for 'NO.24.-' showing missing year date; also similar card dated 1896 (3.10) uprated by 1896-7 1d (die II)(2) by Salisbury cds.; the latter stamps a little oxidised otherwise fine. An attractive pair. SG 41, 42
