1938-51 2d carmine, IMPERFORATE 'working proof' on unwmkd wove with horizontal blue security lines 16mm apart, COMPLETE SHEET OF 60 (severed into blocks of 42 (6x7) and 18 (6x3), the latter with imprint and plate number '2A'). Extensive creasing, characteristic of such proofs, with tear at foot affecting two units, but a fascinating and unique item, with pencil annotation 'Scratches' at lower right, indicated by large crosses and circles on four units. SG 124c Ex Kayfetz (Harmers 14/5/97, lot 762).
