1911 envelope to Georgetown bearing ½d tied by very fine strike of the violet boxed 'EAST END/Grand Cayman/RURAL/Post Collection.', Bodentown and Georgetown 'AP.12.11' transit and arrival double-ring ds. The envelope has been very slightly reduced at the left where opened. A very fine and rare commercial cover using this domestic ½d rate with this canceller. 
 
"Only about 40 covers are recorded with this cancellation and this is the second earliest date known."
