1873 cover from Charlottetown to Summerside, franked at internal rate by 1872 3c rose, perf 11½-12, tied by two strikes of 'triangle' cork (type P128) which leaves portrait clear. Fine despatch and arrival backstamps dated JUN 21-23 73. Part of left flap missing (causing tiny perf nick), still a fine and attractive cover. Prince Edward Is joined the Confederation just a week later, and its stamps became obsolete. SG 37
