1870 cover from Belfast to Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia, franked at provincial rate by 1862-69 3d blue, perf 11½-12, tied by RED 10-bar oval (and in transit by black 8-bar oval). Backstamps of Belfast (in RED), reverse bearing Prince Edward Is, Pictou and Tatamagouche tranist and arrival marks. Minor blemished and small part of flap missing but a rare cover seldom seen with the red cancels. SG 14
