1855 1d. red brown, Die II, Pl.22, (CK_CL & DK-DL) wmk large crown, imperforate right marginal block of four, from Neale's Steam Press experiments, Pl. 22 was ungummed for these experiments. Slight creasing to in the margin between top stamps, mentioned for accuracy. A fine and scarce item with fresh colour, desirable in positional form. BPA cert. 1964 SG 29var Spec. C8h cat £16,000 (£4000 for single)
