NYASALAND-RHODESIAN FORCE: Nyassa Company 1911 "REPUBLICA" overprints 25r and 75r on 'Rivers' envelope registered (one stamp removed) addressed to Umtali, Southern Rhodesia tied by "NYASALAND/FF2/AP 29/18" squared circle and at lower left "Passed by CENSOR" boxed handstamp in violet, the reverse with Salisbury (11.5) transit and Umtali (15.5) arrival double-ring ds, envelope with foxing; two further items one a piece bearing 2½r, 25r and 400r and a single 75r with similar "FF2" cancels; also interesting stampless "Nyasaland Government/ DEMAND NOTICE OF LAND TAX DUE" printed document addressed to "H Barrett Esq/via New Langenburg/ N.F.F." with manuscript "O.H.M.S." and "ZOMBA M.O.B./16 OC/1917/NYASALAND" squared circle.
