1960 centenary of northern territory exploration die proof magenta on white wove paper mounted in sunken frame, on reverse C.B.A. note printing branch 31.8.60 and numbered '72' (for W.L. Russell, Stamp Advisory Committee); only eleven die proofs were distributed, one for Queen Elizabeth II (for Royal Collection, unnumbered) leaving in private hands only ten possible available, a rare proof, BW 378DP(1) AU$3,000.
