Postmarks on cover.  1957 and 1958 registered airmail covers from Mena al Ahmadi to London, 1957 with 3 x 6a paying double-weight rate, one fold and the etiquette torn before application; 1958 with 2 x 6a (this office being at the oil loading terminal, and the canceller was only used on registered mail and parcels).  Also a rare airmail cover bearing GB 1/6d to USA with FPO 1040 dated 16 AU 61, from the British force despatched to counter the Iraqi threats at the time
