Usages on cover.  1949-54 covers (twelve), written up on leaves.  Covers with 6a UPU and 3a UPU pair on commercial covers to UK, latter with a fold; 1950 airmail cover (225 x 100mm) to USA with 4a and 2r, Ahmadi CDS, and nine covers with BPAEA 'value only' frankings used from Kuwait, one with Type 28 'Exchange Office' cancel in violet 
XXX'Value only' stamps of the BPAEA were used during shortages of Kuwait 6a stamps.  Seven of these covers bear 6a (singles, pairs or blocks); the other two bear odd values making rates of 6a and 12aXXX
