Airmails.  1953-8 group of nine items, including two commercial with Coronation 1r (one used from Bahrain), three with the Type 23 registered oval cancel in a severely damaged state with KUWAIT printing only as a solid slug  (known from July - September 1956); 1955 2r on double-weight cover to USA (fold), and a registered cover with the Type II 2r, 20np (corner missing) and 1r, bilingual Type 38 Safat CDS.  The 2r on this cover has a re-entry; the cover was intended to be registered but placed in a box for ordinary mails, so bears London reg. etiquette and violet boxed POSTED/OUT OF/ COURSE/I.S. handstamp
