1922 (Dec.) 5/- rose-carmine with Thom three-line overprint, showing Plate 1 R3/2 or 8/2 'accent omitted' variety.  College Green CDS of 1 FE 23.  Light blue wash at lower left corner, and a couple of shorter perfs.  MacDonnell Whyte Certificate (1996) mentions a small crease at to right, which is not apparent at this time; 'A rare stamp used in period, one of four recorded to date.'  SG 65a, £900
