1955 2r on 2/6d Type III surcharge, used vertical pair with oval Registered cancel, the upper stamp with 'I' in BAHRAIN inverted and raised.  Short perf on top stamp and the lower stamp with perf damage at lower left, overall slight water-staining, not mentioned on BPA Certificate (1976); a rare pair.  SG 77b, ba, £1340
