1877 unpaid Ship Letter rated 7c. to Laurence Town Nova Scotia, the internal letter rate being 2c. per ½ oz, front bearing 'SHELBURNE N.S SHIP LETTER' hand-stamp and Shelburne cds dated Au 13, reverse bearing Laurence town arrival marks dated AU 15 77, with forwarding Agents cachet on flap. staining to front and reverse of cover and right flap missing, otherwise a fine and interesting item.
