Perak; Ulu Bernam.  1942 registered envelope to Ipoh bearing 2ct Negri (3) and 8ct Perak (2) all with DAI NIPPON 2602 MALAYA overprints, and 1ct Pahang with single-frame chop in black (with an element of red).  Correct 23ct rate, tied by three strikes of Ulu Bernam Type JD1 cancellation with 30.11 date  in manuscript.  Backstamped Alor Star, Teluk Anson and Ipoh, small piece of backflap missing.
