Japanese Occupation 1942 first day of issue cover addressed locally bearing  2c. orange horizontal pairs, (2) optd type 13, both displaying 'PE' for Penang variety, each tied by a crisp strike from 'DAI NIPPON G.P.O. PENANG' cds dated 25th APRIL. Faint corner bend at lower right, mentioned for accuracy, a fine item and possibly unique item. BPA cert (1958) SG J78a.
