1878 Seamans letter posted from H.M.S Minotaur off Cyprus to Portsmouth bearing three 1d. rose-red Pl. 197 (lettered MG,NG & NH) each tied by Larnaca '942' obliterator, reverse bearing Larnaca Cyprus cds dated SP 12 78 and Portsmouth receiving mark dated SP 26 78. Some tears to opening flab and slight peripheral wear, nonetheless an interesting and fine item contents enclosed. SG 43.
