Description
KG VI mint collection in maroon FG Warwick album. A run-through of Postage issues with some shades, with a fine array of ‘extras’. 1937 set with Plate blocks; 2c x 5, 3c x 10 (including Pl. 12 lower right hinged on selvedge only, 13 centre block of 8 unmounted, 13 lower right unmounted), 10c x 10, 13c x 3, 20c x 7, 50c x 2 (upper left with crease, lower right unmounted, plus top right block from lower pane without imprint), $1 aniline lower left and lower right, latter with minor bend. Also $1 unmounted pair, one with substantial ‘embedded hair’ flaw. 1942 set including 2c and 4c slate imperforate pairs unmounted, and Plate blocks; 1c x 14, 3c x 25 (purple with lower right block of 6 hinged on selvedge only), 4c (28) and 5c. Later with $1 Peace lower left plate block, hinged on the selvedge only, and an outstanding 7c Air upper left corner block of four on the very scarce thin ribbed paper, unmounted; also $1 Fisherman two upper left Plate blocks, unmounted.
