1904-09 KEVII set to £1, wmk MCA, 17 values comprising the set of 12 plus additional ½d, 1d, 4d, 6d and £1 values on chalk-surfaced paper, upper marginal with plate number "1", large part o.g. (stamps mostly unmounted). The £1 on chalk-surfaced paper with some gum staining, otherwise a fine and attractive range with lovely colours. Highly desirable and very rare in this matching positional form, these being the ONLY plate number examples from this issue that we have handled in the last 30 years. SG 21/32a, £1,000+
