1916 6d mauve ("SIX PENCE"), typewritten (carbon) on thin horizontally-laid with initials in red, left marginal with part papermaker's wmk, fresh unused. Trivial wrinkles and faint crease at foot (clear of design), mentioned for accuracy, still very fine for this issue. Only 60 produced, from which Gibbs recorded 16 unused (and 1 used). SG 19, £1,600
