1852-57 10d dull blue ‘Cartier’, thin handmade wove, imperf with good to large margins (enormous at left), showing the prominent R3/5 major re-entry (strong line through ‘CANADA’, doubling of left ‘8d stg.’ and upper frame line), lightly cancelled by part target cancel, trace of a vertical crease in left margin (not affecting design) still far above average for this classic rarity.
