De La Rue Dummy Stamps collection on pages and loose, a well presented lot comprising 2 imperforate sheets of six of the large format ‘Brittannia’ design, one in red and blue, another on lozenge effect paper in brown and grey, in the small format design comprising imperforate examples (29) in various colours, of which 12 are printed from the defaced plate, also perforated examples (16) in red. Lastly five imperforate complete sheets of FIFTY ‘De La Rue & co’ horizontal format dummy stamps each in a different shade of 'lake' annotated accordingly and each handstamped ‘ 9 SEP 81’. A fascinating and unusual lot.&nbsp;
