P.O.W. MAIL: &nbsp;Undated printed postcard from Aircraftsman Gurney Smeed to his parents in London from No. 2 Branch Camp at Palembang, Sumatra, opened on 15th August 1942 and closed by the Allies on 15th August 1945, with orange Takahshi chop at left and faints typed “MALAI FURYO SHUYOSHO NO 2 ”. The cheery message for his parents, surely belied the harsh conditions, yet Smeed survived the war and was still alive in 1952.&nbsp;
