1890 envelope from India to France, franked by 1a brown-purple and 2a pale blue, tied by Uttar Pradesh squared circles for AP 23(?), with Paris arrival cds in red at foot, for 9 MAY, backstamped by Bombay despatch mark and RARE SEA POST OFFICE INTAGLIO SEAL Set E, dated 25 AP, carried by the ‘Assam’ P&O steamer, with further Paris arrival alongside, an attractive cover, very rare marking which was only used on two voyages (!), from Bombay to Suez and the return sailing to Bombay. &nbsp;SG 88-91&nbsp;
