1821 and 1823 re-addressed entire letters from G. V. Hart aboard the H.M.S. Rochfort at Malta to his father, both with interesting contents the former stating "we go down to Ionion Islands soon to take away arms from the Greeks as they are under Martial Law. They killed two men and wounded an Officer there." and the latter "I went ashore yesterday to see Captain Schonberg to ask him about staying out on this station...", both with an assortment of postal markings and have been re-folded. Good. A transcript for both letters is included. Fascinating items.
