1897 3c on half of 5c blue, Kuala Lipis manuscript provisional, divided diagonally; an unsevered pair with adjoining 3c left half, together with the matching 2c right half. Lightly and evenly toned, with gum. From the second group, used by Pahang cds for 7 NO 97. A very rare combination, BPA Certificate (1979) for former SG 17/18, now SG 18a + 18, 18d, £6,000.
